Over the past 4 years, we have held our “THEY CAN’T STOP ME!” 5k walk/run to fund our scholarship given annually to a student wishing to pursue a career in electronic media at Onondaga Community College.
Now, this year, The Jerry Barsha Memorial Foundation is proud to announce a fantastic concert event BACK TO THE GARDEN – the songs of Carole King, Joni Mitchell and Laura Nyro!!!
And the special thing about this concert is Debra Barsha is coming home to perform!!! She is playing the piano and is the Musical Director for this concert which has been touring all over the country gaining fans everywhere!
From Debra: “My father, Jerry Barsha, used to take off from work, just to drive me down to New York City and knock on publishers’ doors to try to sell my songs. He was such a fan of these three singer-songwriters, and he knew I was carrying on their tradition. I am so happy to honor my father in this way and come home to Syracuse to help raise money for our scholarship.”
The concert will be held on Saturday, November 1st at the Onondaga Community College campus from 7-9 pm in the Storer Auditorium. PLEASE SAVE THE DATE!! If you would like to attend, click here to buy a ticket online: http://www.eventbrite.com/e/back-to-the-garden-charitable-concert-tickets-12502975737 (Seats are not assigned. Thanks – Debra, Cynthia, Amy and Janice Barsha
